Castle Hill Inn Wedding, Jessica and Deepak

Part 3, the wedding day! Yes, it rained. Fortunately, the ceremony was held outside between showers. The rain held up enough for us to get some photos at the Lighthouse. Jessica and Deepak selected the following vendors: Hair and makeup by Allison Barbara, Flowers by Semia, Henna by Manisha Hennacafe, Villa One Twenty, the band Cover to Cover, and just for fun Flip Book City. The talented Jaclyn L photographed the "guys", all the wonderful details and some nice moments. What a unique opportunity it was spending the wedding weekend with these two families.

Mehndi Celebration, International Tennis Hall of Fame, Jessica and Deepak

Mehndi Celebration is a traditional Indian event that allows both families to meet and enjoy each others company, similar to a Rehearsal Dinner. Jessica and Deepak chose the International Tennis Hall of Fame horseshoe piazza as the venue with an Indian decor theme and traditional Indian food.

Mehendi Preparation

Before the wedding day, the bride to be spends the day having her hands, wrists, palms and feet embellished with Henna tattoos. The reddish brown color represents the prosperity that a bride brings to her new family. Included in the design is a hidden inscription of the grooms name. Manisha, is a Henna/Mehndi artist who travels to various locations within New England. Her artistry is amazing to watch as she "free-hands" unique designs of Henna tattoos. The process takes about 4 to 5 hours to apply. The henna is left to dry overnight and removed the next day to reveal a gorgeous reddish brown tint.

Deepak, the groom looks for his name hidden in the designs.

Review

A Wedding Wire Review from our bride Betsy...

“I would highly recommend Peter to anyone planning a wedding. He came recommended
to us through our wedding planner as well as through friends who had used him before.

I am so happy we chose him. Peter and his wife, Greer, who runs the studio were
wonderful from start to finish. We met with them both about a year before the wedding to
go over what we were looking for and our hopes for the types of photos and final product
we would have. They were very receptive to our thoughts and offered their experienced
opinions.

Peter documented our wedding perfectly, not missing anything! It’s amazing that he was
able to do so, when for much of the night I didn’t even realize when he was photographing.
He was so professional and had a very calming demeanor (a great attribute given that in
the hours leading up to your wedding it can start to feel a bit hectic)!

Peter and Greer were a pleasure to work with - if I had to do it all over again, I’d pick
them every time!”
