Nicole and Blake Rosecliff Wedding featured in Bliss

Exquisite Events made Nicole and Blake's "New Orleans meets Newport" themed wedding at Rosecliff Mansion a grand celebration. The highlights included music by Kermit Ruffins of New Orleans, a Confectionary Designs cake adorned with the bride's grandparents wedding topper, flowers by Toni Chandler, catering by Blackstone Caterers all combined to create a "great Gatsby" ambiance.Personal touches , such as invitations and place cards were made by New Orleans based Tupelo Honey Designs as were other decor items that complimented the beauty of Rosecliff.

These beautiful and artistic floral arrangements from Katie and Nick's Castle Hill wedding are by Christina Chandler of Studio 539 Flowers. I love the baskets that she used to deliver the bridal bouquets. The overall floral design was very simple and elegant. It was nice to work with you again.

Mary Alice and Braden, Belle Mer, Newport, RI

Oh what a night! Mary Alice is one of the most expressive brides that I have had the pleasure of photographing. She along with Braden and their families were a lot of fun to be with. I teamed up with the talented Faith Dugan, whose lifestyle photographic approach added another dimension to the coverage. Mike Henriques from Artistic Wedding Video Group is always a pleasure to work with. Toni Chandler's floral design was accented by the use of ferns which in New Zealand symbolizes fertility and good luck. Mary Alice and Braden "saw" each other before the ceremony so we were able to visit several locations before returning to Belle Mer. Here is the slideshow...enjoy!

Exquisite Events Sample StoryBook

Exquisite Events is a wedding and event planning team based in Newport, RI. I have had the pleasure of working with Stasia and Kelli several times. This StoryBook highlights the details of a three day weekend event. A welcoming clambake at Castle Hill Inn on Friday followed by a 60th Birthday bash at the New York Yacht Club on Saturday and finally on Sunday a glamorous wedding at Rosecliff Mansion. These images provide Exquisite Events bridal clients with ideas and inspiration for their unique event.

Just finished designing an updated StoryBook for the sales team at the Castlehill Inn property. Hopefully this will inspire brides with images and ideas for their upcoming wedding date at this beautiful and unique venue.

41 North

Tuesday night Peter and I were invited to 41 North to meet with Connie Pirrone, the new special events manager for Christies, The Grill and the new boutique hotel to be completed in early spring of 2010.  Connie moved here from NYC this year so, Welcome to Newport, Connie!   She showed us two rooms upstairs at Christies that would be great for rehearsal dinners..very sleek and modern.  Also upstairs are two rentable private residences which are great for the bride and groom or wedding party. On the property as well are two adorable cottages which rent for a modest price in the winter (complete with fireplaces!) and are typically higher in the summer months, but still a great location.  We are looking forward to previewing the new hotel and seeing the wedding reception space on the street level which looks very interesting  from the drawings.   Stay tuned and thanks for a lovely visit, Connie.
